Best of July!

 Fun at Belmont Park

I have been finding some great deals on groupon. one of the deals was for Belmont park.  It's this great little amusement park in Mission Beach.  It's right on the boardwalk and it's cool to see kids barefoot running around going from ride to ride right from the beach.  it totally reminds me of what life was like in the 70's.
This ice cream cone was lesson than $6.  It had 2 of the most gigantic scoops of ice cream I have ever seen.

the kids spent all day there.  we went home for a few hours to eat dinner and the older kids wanted to come back at night to ride all the rides until closing time.  no line!!!

4th of July!
it's one of our funnest days of the year.  we look forward to it every year.  Coronado golf coarse, food, friends, bocce ball, tennis, volley ball, football, red rover, red rover...

State Games:
I don't know if you have ever heard of this. California State Games.  It's like the Olympics for youth sports.  All Sports from A to Z come together for one weekend and compete.  It starts out with opening ceremonies at Qualcomm Stadium where the Chargers play.  They have a parade of Athletes and entertainment and fireworks.  The next day, everyone competes in their own sports.  It was actually really cool!

The Man even got roped in to keep tally up scores.

Love these two!

the dads had to carry their girls to the pool because they couldn't walk with their fins. So freakin adorable!

We have been so incredibly lucky to be surrounded by close friends who support and love our children.   It's wonderful to have them in our lives.  THANK YOU!!
