Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas.  On Christmas Eve, we had some people over for our traditional waffle dinner, reading and acting out of the Christmas Story and watching our favorite Christmas classic--National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
Christmas morning the kids woke up early and opened presents.  Most of the presents you see under that tree is Emerson's and Atti's presents. Mostly from her Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles.

Happy 6th Birthday, Emerson!

Emerson turned 6 on December 19th.  We had a small birthday dinner for her with some family and friends.  Don't you love her cake?  Graham, made a delicious two layer, chocolate cake and I decorated it.  Emerson, loved the big paper flowers I made.  She wanted to wear one in her hair.

You will see a lot of pictures of Emerson wearing a lot of funky outfits.  I haven't been able to pick out her outfits since she was 2 years old.  She loves to put colors and outfits together that do not match at all and she likes it that way.  I wonder where she gets her fashion sense?

Emerson is attending a spanish emerson school where she is in Kindergarten.  She loves it and we are amazed at how much she is learning.  She only gets one hour a day in English.

Emerson was the emcee for the school's winter festival.  All her speaking parts were in spanish.  She did awesome!

These are some pictures from that night.  Her teacher is Maestra Monica (we love her).

I am new at this blogging thing.  I decided I needed to get my act together because I never send pictures to my family or to Graham's family.  I feel so bad because I went a whole year without sending pictures of the kids and Atticus is changing so much.  So, this is my way of sharing my family pictures to them.  Less Blogging, More Pictures!!!  I will try my hardest to update on a regular basis.  I'm off to a good start!

We went to Maui in November.  It was wonderful.   The whole time we were there it was in the mid 80's.  We snorkeled almost everyday with Emerson.  My mom came with us.  She was a great help with the kids.

These are some pictures of us at the pumpkin patch during halloween time.

Halloween 2007

Emerson wanted to wear a Korean Hanbok for Halloween since Atticus wore one for his Birthday.  She told everyone she was being Korean for Halloween.  Atticus was our little monkey for halloween.  I took Atticus around the neighborhood in a wagon while Emerson went Trick or Treating.

Atti's 1st birthday

Atticus really enjoyed himself on Thanksgiving.  He downed his turkey and he still had room for desserts.  He just turned 1 on Nov. 2nd, so this was his first Thanksgiving meal.
Happy New Year!
