Easter

Easter came and went so fast this year, it just snuck up on me.  I didn't even have time to dye Easter eggs this year.  Every year we go to a church members house for a huge egg hunt.  Emerson always has fun trying to find the golden egg, which has a dollar in it.  This year Atticus got to join her on the hunt.  Atti had fun but didn't quite get the concept of picking up the eggs and putting it into his basket.  He would pick up an egg and throw it like a baseball.  He didn't end up with any eggs in his basket but he didn't care, he had fun anyway.  Don't worry about the egg dying.  I am sure we'll get to that this month.

Aaron and Melissa Visit

Aaron and Melissa came down to San Diego for a friends wedding, so they came and visited us for a few days.  It's always fun having them come down and we love seeing them!! 

A funny thing Emerson said today

Emerson:  Daddy, Mommy, I washed every part of my body today even my neck, face and ears!

Graham:  Oh! Eme, you're usually supposed to wash those parts when you shower.

Angie:  Do you usually not wash those parts?

Emerson:  No, I've never washed them before? (Shocked and surprised look on face) 

My Boys!

I love this picture of Graham and Atticus.  They are both adorable.  Atticus loves Graham so much.  As soon as Graham walks into a room, Atticus gets so happy and runs to him.  He could care less about me when Graham is around.  Yes, I am a little jealous.  Emerson was always a mama's girl, I just assumed Atti would be attached to me too.  He is definitely a boy and he loves doing boy things and hanging out with boys.  When I put Atticus to bed at night, I whisper into his ear "Mommy loves you more than daddy."  I wish that this subliminal message would sway him to my side but it's not working.  Emerson keeps telling me that she is still a mamas girl...that makes me feel a little better.

I'm Done!

Is falling asleep during eating a boy thing?  I don't think Emerson ever fell asleep while eating.  Atticus seemed awfully quiet while eating his lunch so I decided to check on him...I guess the show he was watching was boring.

Emerson lost her first tooth!

Emerson's tooth has been loose for almost a month.  No one was allowed to wiggle it, then her other bottom tooth started to wiggle.  She lost two teeth within one week.  The first one came out while eating a subway sandwich and the second one came out while brushing her teeth.  She was so excited when the tooth fairy left her money twice in one week.  She is also very excited because she is "so rich!"

Matt and Brittany's visit

Matt and Brittany visited us for a few days after Valentine's Day.  It was really nice to see them even though Atticus did not welcome them with open arms.
